These were in Christchurch. Heard Euromarque had an SLR so I just HAD to check it out. When I got there spotted the two Ghiblis as well, though I got told to delete all the photos I took since they're not due for launch in NZ til the second quarter of 2014. I deleted all the photos I had in front of the guy but I accidentally videoed it as well. This is a still from that video.

Part 2... Was fortunate enough to spend some time in the F-Type, Range Rover and SLS. F-Type is as glorious as it is in photos and videos. Interior is lovely, though the Range Rover smells so damn nice. SLS.... well that's my favourite car in the whole world and this was the third time I'd seen one. But this was the first time I'd open the doors, sat in it and even got to start it up! Folks at Wellington Mercedes are the nicest dealers I've come across.

Commuting through Greenlane/Remuera/Newmarket I see some impressive stuff, but two highlights beyond the usual latest Aston/Bentley/Maserati were a Ferrari F40 on sunday monring (the reg 324KMH checked out on carjam so not a replica) and a Morgan 3 Wheeler (stuck in traffic in the sun, don't think i could handle that attention).
Being on my bike means I get all of the noise too - the F40 was astonishingly loud, in a really brutal way like a muscle car. Sounded nothing at all like a 355 or later V8.

Yeah, 324kmh is the real deal. It would have been one of the Continental guys out testing it, it's been with them for a whileBeing on my bike means I get all of the noise too - the F40 was astonishingly loud, in a really brutal way like a muscle car. Sounded nothing at all like a 355 or later V8.

I take it 324kmh is not the same car that was at the Leadfoot festival ('F40')? I thought NZ only had two F40's, one in the North Island and one In the South (Chch, owned by the guy who owns Fazzaz?).
I'd heard that Gavin Bain (from Fazazz) had sold his F40 to the North Island a couple of years ago? There's a F40 in Hawke's Bay. Owner blew the turbos up at Taupo a while back and had them rebuilt. Guy also owns an Enzo and is currently selling this 458:
