New small cameras on side gantry on M20 Folkestone bound lanes just a few hundred yards before footbridge before Maidstone W turnoff and Maidstone C/Chatham spine road (similar to M25 ones before and afetr Clacketts). Saw today as was told at nearby dealer there was average speed cameras there/being introduced. Its in the busy Maidstone section that already has overhead gantrys and variable speed limits. Only noticed one set anybody else seen them?

Bastwards!

Slowly ruining the british roads....it has nothing to do with safety any more.

Drove through today. Yes Hadecs cameras, on the same gantrys that the existing cameras are. Looks to me like they will replace the old ones on the top and will again be used to back up the variable speed limit area.

Does anyone know if the gantry cameras on the M20 junction 6 are still active. I have noticed that the cameras on the main part of the motorway have been removed and the only ones left are the ones on the left side of the carriage way. And if they are active do they flash if you are over the set speed?

Has anyone been done on these yet?

I got flashed months and months ago at 137 and heard nothing.

The Mrs got flashed two days ago. Signs were 40 and she was probably doing 48 in a customer's bloody car.

I was behind her flashing her to slow down but she didn't notice apparently.

Just don't know whether to prewarn customer or not.
