Could do, I'm happy to give it a go if others are?

Guess we could always call it off if it becomes/looks too bad and re-organise for a month or 2's time?
I’d definitely be up for one next month. Clocks would have gone forwards in four weeks time too.

Heaven forbid that strange yellow light in the sky might be on again too hehe

Maybe if people like it we can have a re-run then smile

I'm still going to give the exige a run this weekend, at the end of the day with everybody having the route people can go at their own pace. One of my most fun drives was the first half day of my HPC course, ~0* around Oxfordshire and the car was fine, even after the recent snow, just have to drive appropriately as the R888's just don't get hot enough

Given the weather forecast I’ll likely sit this one out. I took the car out to Essex last weekend and in temperatures from 0 - 5 degrees the Cup 2s were less than impressed at being brought out of hibernation haha.

Absolutely keen for one in about a month’s time when hopefully the weather has turned!!

Will see how the weather is but I really don’t want to total the new MR2. Had it for one week after the O/H had a bit of an off in our old one in the recent cold weather.

Hi all,

Everybody should now have a copy of the proposed route, any issues please let me know.
Any chance you can resend please? I don't seem to have receive it. Thanks!

The BBC weather forecast for Sevenoaks to Guildford is showing as cold, but clear of rain and sunny.

There’s no rain expected the night before, so if the ground does freeze, it won’t be icy and the sun should clear anywhere not shaded by the trees.

Why would that happen? Unless it's fitted with budget ditchfinder tyres. You need decent rubber on a MR2..

In 9 years mine has never shown any propensity to visit the scenery. Even in the really cold winters of 2009/10 and 2010/11.

The missus booted it away from an island in the very icy weather recently and ended up in some gravel banking, I'd hate to damage a car we've only had for a week and the weather isn't ideal for a bit of hooning.

Will still be there if the weather forecast is a big fuss about nothing.

Chaps/chapesses,

Apologies but have to give this a miss (gutted). Been informed by SWMBO that we have a black tie 50th birthday party the night before, so doubt I’d be in a fit state the next morning .....

Have fun - and hopefully partake next time round (now off to see if my DJ still fits !!)

Hmmm. Who would be driving it on Sunday, you or her? smile
Which version is it btw Mk1/Mk2/Mk3?.

The route is known, so no pressure to run with the hounds. It doesn't require WOT to be enjoyable.
I'll be going at at a pace to suit me/the conditions, not governed by what others may be doing.

It's going to be below freezing overnight on Saturday/early Sunday morning.
For once though it will be sunny and no rain forecast all weekend so the roads should be dry.
Just take care anywhere where there are lots of overhanging trees.

If it's any help I'm out a little early for golf this morning and all the roads I've come across have been bone dry with no visible ice, including a large uncovered car park

It's still a maybe from me! I will be in an absolutely filthy e46 330 Touring though, have partly fixed the e36 cab but it's still got a VANOS issue, and I'm not taking the Saab out if there's any salt on the roads!
