Kent/E Sussex dawn run - Sun 25th February
Discussion
Route was really good! The only downside I found was google maps kept trying to redirect me to the “fastest” route, and with the phone just lying on the passenger seat it was easy to follow the wrong line, especially as the navigation instructions dried up.
I’ve bout a phone cradle now which will improve visibility of the map, so I’ll see how I go with that.
The roads by enlarge were very smooth and it would definitely make a decent group run.

Excellent, look forward to you organising and tagging along!
Happy to do one just need to sort the navigation issues.. reversing 20 cars back up a single track lane is going to look a bit insane First breakfast club of the year is coming up at goodwood... I Could do that route blindfolded

I’ve got a selection of routes another PistonHeader has shared with me, going to try one out this weekend as the weather is looking spot on.

Glad you enjoyed it. Got back yesterday from a week in north west Scotland.
Weather wasn't the best but the stunning scenery and absence of traffic* more than made up for it.
* Meaning it wasn't necessary to get up at silly o'clock every day to enjoy the drive. More sheep than cars...

Any possibility of the original thread route / run being done again?
Why? Junkalus said:
Or a variation there of..
Roads elsewhere are available. And without ending up in West Sussex...
So point me in their direction where there’s an organised run/ Hoon.. (from the end of May onwards)
It’s nice this year not being the ‘originator / lead car’ :-)

And last Sunday too, no doubt.

I've got to know a fair few roads in Kent and East Sussex over the last 50 years. It’s nice this year not being the ‘originator / lead car’ :-)
I could be persuaded to put something together. The problem is finding a otherwise blank Sunday.
24th June is a possibility if anyone else is interested.

The Kent Run / Route Was ‘Better’ Than The Cheddar Run.. The Cheddar Run Was O.k., But This Was Better.. ;-)
Really? I thought it was pretty good once we got past Three Legged Cross and that poxy 40 limit. The run back from the A303 to Stockbridge was good too (I took to the back roads to get round Salisbury).

Yup. Date dependent.
See above. To avoid any confusion I have created a new thread for this.

I have assumed both of you can defintely make that date and included you on the list.
If not, please let me know as there is a cap on numbers.
