Evening,

I'm looking for car storage in Kent, value being £80k+. I'd like access without needing to give notice (I found two places but they require 24 hour notice).

The closest towards London I'd be looking is Dartford/Orpington. The closer to Maidstone (central) the better. Ramsgate/Folkestone would be too far.

Does anybody know of any places?

Had exactly the same requirement 5 years ago. As then, there are only really 3 options.

JAR (Rose). Amazing setup, can use carcoons etc but access not 24/7, which can be irritating...

Then theres 'carstorageinkent.com', which I used. The chap runs a 3 hole golf course, has some sheep (!), and a long barn. Cheaper than JAR and access should be OK in summer.

Or, Foskers at Brands do storage, but I suspect (being dehumidified etc) might be pricey

Thanks for your reply. Got some follow-up questions below inline.

What's the actual name? I'm struggling to Google that one. I guess I would be after 24/7.

This was one of the two I found. The web page says you do need to give 24 hour notice though? I'm no expert but how did you find the storage conditions in terms of deterioration? Their website says they now have industrial storage too.

I used carstorageinkent for about a year and had an excellent experience with him (Michael). He has two locations; one near tenterden and the (commercial) storage nearer Ashford. I found him very flexible but ring and chat - that costs nothing.
