Oh yes!!! I'm definately up for this! A mere 13st too Although lets keep the races relatively short 'coz some of us older gits aren't fit enough for 30min+ sessions

In september I weighed 8.5 (yes, EIGHT AND A HALF) stone!!Since being sensible and going to the gym I now weight 10 3/4stone, so my significant advantage is now somewhat gone!

So what's the deal, one race in Buckmore, one in Thurrock?

And how will it be done - many races, with points added up at end!?

So, this appears to be a goer then!

There's generally a choice of formats; the "Iron Man" grand prix - driver against driver for an hour, or team enduro.

Judging by the apparent unfitness inferrred by some, enduro sounds about right!

I shall make enquiries and revert to you all over the next week or so.

Any dates in mind fella's? Am planning my calendar into Sept now and would like to make this. A few Kent Lotus boys are up for the cup too depending on the date.

We were discussing it today actually. Steve's driving at Thurrock on Thursday night so he'll get some details from them then. I'll have a word with buckmore this week and get available dates too - and then we'll get posting. I guess it's a case of which dates can 'most' people make!

Current thoughts are perhaps one in late august / september, another in October.
