Spotted yesterday on A130 between Southend & Chelmsford

2 X Silver BMW'S - One E39 Reg. EU53 UYK, One E60 Reg. EU55 ...

Seem to be having a purge around Chelmsford at the moment.

Lets be careful out there !

I saw one last night also. Blue flashing front grill outside White Hart - Chelmsford. Silver 5 series I think.

Thanks for the heads up.
This road has become the most ridiculously over policed stretch I've ever seen anywhere.
Its just not worth going even 1 mile over the limit.

Please watch out for (in addition to the 1000 marked/unmarked police vehichles) the woodham ferrers interchange - laser gun trap,they'll park there cars up the grass verge (is this even legal?) and zap people who increase their speed to let in the joining traffic.

They also sit in the layby north and southbound at the bottom of the hill before the interchange and southbound after it.

They are also doing regular scammering, all day, with the van on the A13 near thurrock at the moment and last week had a car sat on the bridge just before it.

The van parked under the Lakeside turn of isnt a speed van its a van that checks dodgy motors with no tax,warrents,no mot ect ect.

Silver EU55 BMW as mentioned on the first post was on the A130 yesturday pulling someone over in the morning.
Does anyone know details of the A 130 accident on Sunday that closed it in both directions? Drove past there and there were flowers by the roadside unfortunately,very sad.

I've seen the Silver 5-series around Maldon area too, although it was called to a specific incident.

There's a nice new marked Evo 8 out and about my mate showed me a picture of, joining the Essex force for pursuits!!

I have seen a silver Subaru Legacy, unmarked and without lights or sirens around the Chelmsford area with uniformed driving it.

I saw this (along with a host of other marked cars) on the A127 on Saturday afternoon. I think they were doing a blitz on the dodgy MOT / tax brigade as the video van was also there (eastbound at the Childerditch Ind Estate). Looked smart, although I'm not sure I'd feel the same if I saw it in my rear-view beckoning me to the side of the road.

Same black 5 series pulled my flatmate on the A127 the other week and weren't partiularly nice, apparently - but didn't nick him so I reserve judgement...

Was caught on the A13 the other week for undertaking. By a Evo 8 With the words Intercept Team stuck on the back of it. Getting done for careless Only had the RS4 for a week.

Your Joking, I thought people in 50 grand cars drove them like mature adults, Obviously you never payed for it yourself!!!!!! or is it an old well F****D second hand one????
