Lets stick with Wrotham. Probably the Moat but I'll confirm nearer the time...

OK, its looking good for attendance on 10-Sep. Everyone please note that this is just an initial run and so please don't expect great roads all the way. We need to do a couple of runs and fine tune it as we go.

if I get the chance one night this week, may do a test run incorporating seven mile lane and see how it goes.

RM, that would be great - PM me with details if you do. I might try to do the same this Sunday. Also, if anyone is able to recommend some specific roads please PM me and I'll try to incorporate them.

Blimey only just seen this thread (thanks Jay for pointing me here). Would be up for Kent runs for sure but alas 10th Sept I'll say no to. On the evening of 9th September I'm getting back from the MegaHoon so neither me, nor my car, nor my head will be in any fit state to do more hooning!

I'll keep my eyes on this now though would love to do some runs with you guys
Tony

It's a plan!

Yes will let you know if I manage to escape one night this week. Could do early Sunday morning this weekend if that suits?

For the run on the 10th, what time shall we meet? 11am/12noon??

Hi Tony

I think if this goes well then we would perhaps look to do a monthly run (ala London Tunnel Run/Essex etc.).

Naturally we will keep you posted as things progress...

Lets not publish times on here. I'll email the time to everyone off forum.

Although I won't be on this run, I suggest 12noon on a sunday is NOT the best time to do a run.

Literally the best time is as early as you can bare; 6am or 7am type of time. There's no-one on the roads and at the end of the run you can stop for a bacon buttie somewhere.

The difference in quality of run is HUGE!!!!

Yep, its about striking a balance between being early enough to avoid traffic but not so early that its a chore for everyone.

Tis true...

Just so organisers are all aware I'm good to go at absolutely any hour, and I echo Tony's suggestions...

Yes, have to admit Tony's suggestion makes sense. What a doofus I am! silly 12noon indeed!

I agree, early morning would be better for a variety of reasons. thumbup

RM, I replied to your email. FYI, I can do an experimental run and check out some of the roads this Sunday but not until the afternoon. Does that work for you?

Sorry, I'm fully booked on Saturday. I know its not ideal but since its just an experimental run, how about Friday evening?

By the way, I've already plotted out a route. driving
