MOT Centre in Medway, Kent

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a good MOT centre in the Medway area ? I've heard some horror stories about cowboys in the area.

The whole area is riddled with scum and I can understand your worries. On another section of the forum someone recommended Brittania MOT centre in Maidstone- google it and you should be all set.

I use Kings Hill Garage at Kings Hill near West Malling for all my cars MOTs... Fair and never had any problems, certainly don't appear to be looking for work...

Cuxton Garage - bottom of the dip in Cuxton on the 228. Always used them for my Caterham + wifeys car. Very fair & understanding about kit cars.

Bredhurst Garage near Gillingham. They do bikes & cars. Friendly and fair service.

Not been there for a few years, but always used to use a 'turn up and wait' place just outside Rainham. Never any grief. Forget it's name, but directions:-

- Head east on A2 Watling Street through Rainham, then past Miers Court Road on RHS.
- Before the white houses end on the LHS, there's a couple of turnings on the LHS, one before and one after a pub. Take the one before. MOT centre is an entrance some yards down on RHS.

Edit: Might be Greens, and I think the front door to the place is on the A2.

We can do MOT's A2 outside Rainham towards Sittingbourne or Vantage Point at Snodland. We do many 'specialist' cars for MOT and always have lots of 'tuned' Monaro's around to view and listen to whilst waiting!!!

Cranbrook Cars, run by John Berry is about 15 minutes out of Maidstone if thats any use? We've used them for years for servicing MoT's etc. Really good, look after your car, they've got a fantastic reputation in the area so tend to get booked up though.

Bit late for your MOT prob, but i work for medspray mot centre in luton chatham, n we aint cowboys so any1 in the area, i highly recomend us for a good service , n try to avoid magpie, they are cowboys!!
