Every month, the Cobra Replica club meets up at The Halfway House on the A127 (Brentwood turn off) on the first Sunday.

We've been invited along to various days out and been to other PistonHeads meets also - we would now like to return the invite.

Please feel free to pop along for a chat (we often go for a drive out too!), whatever you drive, as long as it has wheels, you're welcome. We would like to get as many cars and new faces along as possible.

Our next meet will be on the 7th January 2007.

Hope to see some of you there.

will try to attend

I have a friend who is mad on Cobras and I've been promising her for ages to take her to a car meet, so I think she'll like it

I went last summer with a mate who has a Cobra ( I took the Fezza) met some great people and saw some fabulous machinery. I shall be going again.

Me & ScottieB will be coming along to this - my first Cobra meet (having missed the Dec one). However Cobra is in the garage getting a megasquirt fitted so is out of action for a 4-6 weeks - we'll be good for the March meet though!

Hannah.

Never can tell how many cobs will turn up to a meet, summer meets we tend to get 10-12 cobs most we had was 16, dry winter meets normaly between 4-8.
please, check the weather out before you come along (as it's not looking to promising at the moment ). since cobras are open top cars, if it's raining the chances are there wont be a single cobra turn up, we tend to take our normal cars to the meet, which wouldn't be a lot of fun for you guys to look at , so if it's blue skys on sunday it'll be be good to see some of you, if it's raining i'd roll over and go back to kip if i were you .
we hold our meet on the first sunday of each month at the halfway house, so if this one gets rained off may be some of you guys could pop along to the next meet.
it may be nice if we could all meet up and go out for a spin somewhere one day when the weathers a bit warmer, may be pop along to the TVR meet up the A12 or a cruise to burnham or southend.

we did have some cobras come to our mid-essex meet last year, which was great.
you should get in touch with Yellow Peril, she is the RO for that meet.

The weather at the moment is dry but according to the forecast it's not
http://uk.weather.com/weather/hourbyh

so is anyone else going today?

just wanna say a big thanks to all you guys that braved the weather(which was not to bad in the end thankfully)for such a good turnout of nice cars clap .
if we can get that many cars together in early Jan with ify weather, imagine how much fun it would be on a hot summers day, especialy if we included a little drive in to the meet as well(possibly meet at the Halfway house and drive out to the woodman pub at ongar, worth a thought).
if anyone took any pics any chance of posting a few .

you guys know where us cobra guys meet now, so if any of you are ever at a loose end on the first sunday of the month, please feel free to pop along for a nag, always good to meet a fellow petrolhead .

Damn,

Can't believe I ended up missing out on this in the end - raining where I was!

Fingers crossed for the same again (minus the rain) sometime in the future. Like Bilko says, be good for a meet up and drive out in the summer.

Hi Luke wavey thanks for inviting us along.

we all enjoyed ourselves, and was pleased to see more cobras than was expected, and some other very nice motors in the car park too

did take some pics so I'll post them up when I get a chance, hopefully tomorrow.

see you soon, probably will pop down again as its only down the road to me.
