Silver London Cab with a PH sticker on the back, numberplate ended in RRU...I was in the Celica behind you going along the London road and into Maidstone town centre this morning!

Saw my first 12 plate on a Jag XF last night on the M20 joining the M26. It wasn't going very fast, I guess he was enjoying his new car

That's the one I was thinking of at the time, couldn't remember the name. Does he have a tiny plate? I think it had silvery rear lights too, which I thought were red normally.

Whereabouts are you then? I've seen a red VXR8 on the edge of a small business park nearish Westwood Cross. Might not actually have been near, but it was between there and Sturry... Last year some time.

Not sure that would be ours. There was one red one at Hersden, and another in Sandwich. We're nearer Dover, and my parents are in the St Dunstans area, so we could have used St Stevens as a cut through to Broad Oak. Our 8 has had V8 Touring Car inspired decals on it for about 6 months now, so you'll know it's us, if you see it.

Seen a couple of Chimaeras in the last 24 hours, both on Kent Gateway between West Wickham and New Addington. First was a dark coloured one yesterday evening heading north, reg was single letter single number TVR.

Then this morning a dark blue L reg Chim with the hood down - I was just in front in the silver Saab with an M25ring sticker on the back!

Spotted a 'Layer Cake' spec RS4 last Sunday in lenham. It looked lovely.

Hmm, Hersden sounds about right. I'm sort of in between St Dunstans and St Stephens areas a lot of the time.

I live in Sturry which is the Canterbury side of Hersden and I've never seen a red VXR8, I did see this silver one in the summer last year

My old car! Just along from the Westgate Towers railway level crossing. I took it home to Guildford almost a year ago to PX it for my Peugeot, and it's back! Someone must have spent a fortune on it getting it working properly again and replacing the broken bumper.

Layer Cake was an RS6 Plus - but nevertheless, a grey RS4 is a lovely thing

Are you sure that the garage haven't just dumped it back with you?

The picture looks like it's nearly opposite Roper Road?

BTW, it's a few years old but this is how the building site nearby used to look.

Yup, it is just opposite, I was turning into Roper, I use it as a rat run to Beaconsfield Rd.

VW had offered £900 for it earlier in the day, Peugeot offered £1,300, they'd caused us huge issues with that car in the first place, we bit their hand off. Call it poetic justice.
