Ford Mustang in a hedge and tree at Hewitts roundabout Chelsfield, Orpington. Looked like one of Bristol Streets demos. Didn't this happen not so long ago that one of their demos got smashed up ?

I would make a joke about a Mustang crashing, but I was a passenger in a car crash on that roundabout a few years ago!

I would make a joke about a Mustang crashing, but I was a passenger in a car crash on that roundabout a few years ago!

I've not been involved in any incident on that roundabout, but have to admit that coming up the A21 from the Bromley direction, there has been many a time when I've hoofed it out of the roundabout onto the dual carriage to the M25. I can definitely see potential for a tail happy car to step out of line at that point. Equally out of the next roundabout and onto the M25 slip west, which is great!

That one always gets me a bit squeaky bum, people don't seem to expect an exige taking the roundabout at motorway speeds, cornering a little faster than the corsa/Zafira they're used to!

Night time is always best, as the headlights are a God send. That M25 slip is like a slingshot! There will be plenty of people who have pulled out in front of me from the M25 heading towards Orpington on that roundabout, who will have thought 'what the fk was that!' as I've hoofed it past their back end and disappeared down the slip.
