Don't get me started on that one! Rode down to Maidstone today on the Harley, stood there for an hour and Half only to find out the flights had been delayed at Duxford! I had a later appointment so had to leave and missed the show

The timetable went to pot for whatever reason.
The ETA at Eastbourne was 14:50 but the fly past ended up being around 3 hours behind schedule.

Pics at Beachy Head. At over 500ft above sea level directly on the flight path I reckon it was easily the best vantage point..







It was none too warm in the wind on the top of the Downs. When we learned about the delay we promptly headed for the bar at the hotel.
Absolutely rammed. Took over 30 minutes just to get near the front of the queue, so we ordered a double round. Rinse and repeat.
The two guys at the next table had a receiver tuned to the communications channel which meant we had a pretty good indication of when to expect the first wave.

Blue TVR Chim @ Sainsburys in Chelmsford earlier and a dark grey Merc AMG GT passing the Chelms Merc dealership, where there was another AMG GT on the forecourt (although that appears to have been there for ages).

Saw a few more on the A12 earlier: Rover P6, Triumph Herald & a dutch reg XJS Cab. All heading Colchester direction.

Black Ultima GTR on the A21 today.

Couple this morning: white Ford GT40 (assume a replica) heading onto the A127 at the A130 roundabout and a Morris Quarter Ton Pick-up (Minor Pick-Up) parked at the entrance to a field a bit further up the road.

Few yesterday as well. In Chelmsford city centre three colourful Mk1 Escort Mexico/RS's, shortly followed by a fecking great US (Kenworth/Peterbuilt) HGV cab - making a proper din plus a bizarre open kit-car jeep type thing. Little later on a stately, black RR Silver Cloud.

Brown Mk2 Escort RS in Colchester, Shrub End area, and orange Cobra replica on the A12. Finally another Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. This one with (I had to look it up) a Hooper body - open driver compartment; closed rear. In black also on the A12 passing Witham- assume pretty rare.

Being followed along A414 near Ongar earlier by a Porsche 911 turbo silver with black whale tail ,then bugger me another white one came the other way at Toot hill .

Despite the weather another batch today: red Ford Capri on the A12 passing Witham and a white 911 GT3 RS on an industrial estate in Witham this morning.

Early pm passed a previous gen Mustang Bullitt on the outskirts of Braintree, looked & sounded great.

Back in Chelmsford a black McLaren 720S - looked good; the same gold 'Vette Stingray that I saw a couple of weeks ago, early evening on Broomfield Road. Also the Le Mans Village on the Curves Transit bus heading up the A414 around lunchtime.

Yesterday a black Lambo Huracan Spider (with a large wing) by Chelmsford's Land Rover dealership and finally, and much rarer, another spot of Chelmsford's sole Fiat Tipo

Yep - seen a few Lambo's about since that's opened. That particular one appeared to be making a meal out of a three point turn by the LR showroom.

Black Triumph TR4 this morning heading towards Danbury.

Few more this morning: white 911 (996) GT3 RS in Shenfield (although it lives there so see that quite a bit), powder blue Aston DB11 few mins later - looked better than that colour suggests.

Later in the morning a green Lotus Elan (M100) on a drive and a red rally-prepped TR3 in Hutton. Finally a BRG S3 E Type cab and red 944 on the Tallon Road Industrial Estate and a pre-war Morris - maybe a Bullnose - passing the same estate.

Weekend so far: cracking dark grey Karmann Ghia cab in Chelmsford city centre yesterday mid-morning.

This morning red Mini Cooper ('60's) on Broomfield Road & a red TVR Sagaris and something white and pre-war a bit later on near Sainsburys.

New shape black Merc G Wagen in the Beaulieu Park estate.

Finally a white Morgan nr. Chelmsford Asda and a blue Mk1 Toyota FJ/Land Cruiser (not seen one of those in the UK before.

Few more from today (Monday): white Merc SLS Cab, Morgan, black Tuscan II & a Metro GTa in quick succession on the A12, mid-morning passing Mountnessing.

The Shenfield GT3 RS again. Old model Merc G Class in Brentwood.

Red Ford Anglia on the A12 early pm nr. Hatfield Peveral and a Cerbera (two TVR's on a work day!) on Parkway back in Chelmsford.

A Ferrari 612 at the A13/M25 Junction yesterday at around 11.30, and then two very old Rolls-Royces clockwise on the M25 immediately after. Also keep seeing a yellow TVR parked up in Brentwood.
