I've done that more times than I could count. Just end up driving around with a jump pack in the boot if I'm in a car that hasn't been out for a while. Somehow they're always out of fuel too, as if someone has gotten thirsty and sat there with a long straw.

My leads have been living in the TVR's boot since then. Initially I tried to jump it off the Pug - the Pug really didn't like that & went into a sort of shut down.

Not surprised really, modern cars don't like being jumped from (nor do trucks, as we had more than a few ECUs blown on ours when staff kept doing it...)

Spotted a few things over the weekend.

Yep, could've been an expensive mistake.

Assume the Royce is a replica?

Edited to add: love that series of Alfa's, GTV's, Junior's etc - wish they'd do something similar to Alpine & resurrect that style of small coupe for modern era (pigs might fly etc).

Yes a replica, the real one is in a museum in the US I think.

The Alfa was just lovely. I had a 1300 Junior and it was glorious. I'd love for Alfa to make one again in a similar vein to the Alpine.

I forgot that I also saw an F12 Berlinetta in Brentwood on Saturday, and then was chased down the Ongar Road by a Portifino (I think).

Quick read-up & it's (R-R) in Canada, having been donated to a museum by a businessman in the '80's (after JL gave it to the IRS in lieu of a tax bill hehe)

That a current shape Renaultsport Megane - I've only seen one of those on the road.

Yep, they absolutely hooned it off of the roundabout too. I'd quite like to have one really. I've test driven a 280 and been a passenger in a Trophy R (which was utterly mind-bending)

I had a sit in the current one at Silverstone last year - felt pretty good, early ones look decent value.

Looked good. Smaller than I'd realised & very compact, tidy piece of packaging. Not so keen on the rear treatment & 3/4 view or the wheels (although that's easily solved).

Overall impressed though - did a double take as I drove past B&Q and then nipped back for a better look (I'm a sad bd).

Two more this pm in Chelmsford: green rally prepped Healey 3000 outside an office on New London Road and a bright blue C3 'Vette rumbling along Parkway.

How much were B&Q asking for the car? Did they have many in stock?

Ha, you're not alone in being sad like that!

I saw a Rover SD1 on the A127 yesterday evening, and then a kingfisher blue XJ-S shortly afterward
