I saw that truck in Chelmsford this morning - it's properly low.
Yeah I've got one for a customer thats a similar height, and won't get over the speedbumps our estate management kindly installed....even the XJS struggles.Saw loads of cars heading to the Dick Turpin yesterday evening.

that's a weekly Yanks and assorted other interesting cars meet Followed a bangle 6-series along the A127 towards Southend yesterday evening - it was matte black, with quad exhausts and an M4 style rear bumper, and with a huge orange wing that was in line with the top of the windscreen (and orange wing mirrors).

A21 at lunchtime. A contina crusader saloon. Y reg. Then directly infront of it by coincidence an A reg sierra 2.3 ghia estate in white.
What a contrast even 37 years later ! I can remember in 83 what revolution that was.
I vaguely remember being excited when my dad brought a Cortina Crusader home as it had a cool (model) badge - at the time he had a Rover SD1 so the Ford must've been a courtesy or hire car. What a contrast even 37 years later ! I can remember in 83 what revolution that was.

Red Shelby (?) Mustang just outside maylandsea.
As in a 60’s one? If so could be my car on shakedown before it’s delivered to me in a couple of weeks. It’s just had an engine rebuild.Bonnet looked like this - though I wouldn't swear that it had spots (don't think it did)

Indeed as in 60's one - was following me so I only saw the hood/bonnet (no it wasn't following closely!! I was just concentrating on mrs Iroc's new car )
Bonnet looked like this - though I wouldn't swear that it had spots (don't think it did)
Mine is a poppy red 65 Fastback with a bonnet scoop. Not a Shelby though or a clone and no spot lights.Bonnet looked like this - though I wouldn't swear that it had spots (don't think it did)

Heaps today, mostly on the A12 waiting for traffic to clear after a horse box had gone up in flames: Daimler Dart, '60's 911 & a MB SLS stood out.
Most notable though, a super clean, orange MKII LWB Transit in Tendring - should've got a pic of that.

Funnily enough the A12 had been closed on Friday when I was on it (the other way, luckily), but an MG B was just puttering away with an RAC van following and then the police.
Unsurprisingly there were a few MG B's in the queue once they re-opened the road (closed both directions as smoke was blowing across from the old nail that caught fire) & I also saw an MG C in Weeley Heath later in the day. Gassing Station | Kent & Essex | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
