I cannot see the badges, but I assume it’s an RS2000 rather than a GTI?

Basildon again this morning & a metallic green MKII Cortina Ghia X parked at Pipps Hill Retail Park.

Red BMW M3 (E30) Cabriolet on the A130, Chelmsford bound, early pm - looked LHD from the opposite side of the road; assuming so & real that's a proper rarity.

As much as I have always disliked late Escorts, I have to say they are ageing rather well. I know they're plastic, bouncy, cheap, old-tech and rusty, but that's not a bad shape.

They seem to come and go. A couple of them I’m surprised manage to move under their own steam.

Have often wondered what the deal with them is.

I think it’s the fact that it’s all the one colour, with bumpers that continue the bodies own lines like more modern cars.
The prior models, which were basically the same shell still had textured angular bumpers , that dates them.

Yeah it was a very clean rs2000. I had a very chavvy rs2000 converted cabriolet a couple of decades ago boxedin

Today & a light blue MkI Cortina two door on the A130 heading towards Chelmsford.

White & black 1920's (I think) Rolls Royce, cool looking, white, wide-body modified last gen Mazda RX-7 and a trailered, white, race prepped MGB GT all on the A127 around Basildon.

Yellow Corvette C6 on a drive in West Horndon.

Finally an orange VW ID Buzz van at the Army & Navy roundabout in Chelmsford - think that's the first one I've seen on the road (rather than at a VW dealer).

An M3 Touring near Battlesbridge last night. A TVR on the A127 this morning and the Gallardo up for sale at UPC near Basildon was on the front.
