Never been down here before, I'm in Rayleigh, and yes, the Bell has superb food, if there are enough of us they may open up the room upstairs (not normally open of a weekday) as downstairs could be quite cramped, good venue though.

Sorry, Monday the 3rd is good for me if it hasn't already been decided.

Drum4it, TVR Nut and myself are going up the Harvester in Langdon Hills tonight if anyone wants to come along from 8pm for a drink.

Lee, I meant to ask you on Saturday if you have got your Chim back yet?

Not as yet, it went in Saturday.

The assessor looked at it yesterday, but couldn't authorise it until he had the go ahead from Churchill.

A bit more work needs doing than first thought, as there is also a hairline crack along the bumper/rear wing swage line.
The rear wing will need respraying aswell as the back end.

They are trying to get it done for this weekend, but will be a bit pushed for time I think.

Speak soon.

I live in Little Baddow, work in Laindon and spent my wedding night (and each anniversary) at The Bell!! Is there a firm date yet?

Hello all,

Please indicate if anyone is interested in meeting at the The Bell for food and / or drinks on Sunday - I can try and book a table if you want. I was thinking 1PMish?

cheers,
Steve

Sorry but this Sunday may not be the best for TVR owners as it's the Essex meeting at the Foresters.

I quite often pop into the Generals Arms for a drink or bite to eat. Wonderful place.

We've gone three pages and not decided on a date yet.

Come on lads get it together

A weekday night would be good, as on Sundays there are usually other meets on.

Fair point actually... I'd suggest a Tuesday - anyone want to nominate which Tuesday?

Trackdemon - I can't make Sunday as I will be going to the Mid-Essex TVRCC meet. As for a Tuesday night, how about next Tuesday (11th of May), or is that not enough notice?

I don't mean to be rude Podie, but are you blind or something ?!? I have attended nearly all of the meets since I became a member. I only missed last month's meet due to a pre-arranged family dinner. It's the last few convoy's that I've missed Something which I intend to rectify this month (weather permiting)

OK, thought I'd revive this one - does anyone fancy a midweek beer or 2 @ The Bell Inn, Horndon on the Hill sometime? Could swap venue to the Harvester @ Laindon if you want but The Bell is lots nicer (beer garden is accomodating this time of year ). Sign up and suggest dates here!
