All he has in the states is his big jeep. But soon to have something very nice but not soon enough I believe.

I will be there. In fact the wife and I are heading up on Friday in the Esprit. We will be there all weekend and will be taking part in "the tour" as well on Saturday. If you want to see these cars on the road rather than static, I would suggest that you hang around Mt. Dora on Saturday (10:30am the tour kicks off, depending on, of course, how hung over we all are from the reception on Friday night)

ernest: yay! i was hoping you would make it sadly i won't be able to get there that early, as i'm coming with my dad who's an accountant, and it's his second day off after tax season, and i barely managed to persuade him to leave at 8-8:30 so we'll get there a half-hour to an our before lunch.

i'm back! but it wasn't very fruitful because i made a mistake about when to go. this year the show was changed from fri and sat to sat and sun and we (my dad and i) went sat because we always went then. so we only saw a few cars. here's some pics of the cars i did see(i'm not going to upload them all so it doesn't take forever to load). i have more if you want them.

Late reply. Just have my monster and semi-monster Jeeps in Miami. We have a few cars over on the West coast but the new 500SL and the new E500 aren't of much interest. There are a few F's in the garages in the U.S but they are classics and thus the keys are kept well out of my reach.

By the way - the burgandy XJ220 is Ian's driver, the silver is his show car...

What a great array of photos of some fabulous cars.
Looks like a great event! Any chance there were any TVRs there and if so, do you have any photos of them too? I may use a couple of your photos, thanks.
I may have to put Mt. Dora on my calendar for next year if these photos are an example of the quality of cars that it draws.

Sorry... No Koenigsegg. The most interesting at the show IMHO, this year where the Healey, the DB-AR1, the Enzo, Ian's two XJ220's, a Gallardo and the plethora of Ferraris and a few nice Panteras...

...The tour was fun as we got to see the AR1 actually on the road (for the first time).

But stop the presses

On May 22 and 23rd (I believe - I will check the dates and reconfirm), the Ferrari Club of America are sponsering an exotic show (on the second day, which will be a Saturday) to benefit the March Of Dimes. It will be in Celebration, Florida at the Marketplace...

I will get more details and publish them soon...
