Wye and Pie?

I got soaked last night, I couldn't see a thing so I stopped in Henley, and ended up joining my wife at "la bodega" (??) until about 1.00am. It was dry when we left but as soon as we got out of Henley the rain started coming down in sheets. It was coming up over the top of the windscreen like an inverted waterfall. No vision & no road markings made Shiplake a pretty scary place. My wife was sitting there in her evening gear with the tonneau over her head...very elegant.
Oh the joys of open top cars
