I saw this parked by the shell garage near Brooklands with an AA patrol having a look at it, I’m still not sure exactly what I was looking at but I hope whatever was wrong wasn’t anything major.
Turns out it was this....https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2017-0...

I drove past this too, wondered what it was! thought it was a kit car Didn't catch the big mclaren sticker down the side
Spotted a blue McLaren P1 wearing a full GTR bodykit, rear wing, aero, etc, while I was at Oldschool Windscreens this morning.
I'm not sure it could be an actual GTR as I don't think they were ever road registered in the UK and were track specials for existing customers only? Although saying that, I guess if you're a rich enough owner I'm sure you could afford to get it registered.
Either way it sounded very nice accelerating away and off in the direction of Longcross studios / housing development.

HRH Prince Andrew being chauffeured out of Royal Lodge,in Windsor Great Park this morning.
He was in the back of a Bentley, two suited fellas up front, and followed (at some speed) by a Range Rover full of suited fellas too. I was cycling through the Great Park and had to get off the road in a hurry, as they didn't look like they were in the mood for hanging about. I just wish I had a cool remote control to open the deer park gates like they had. I had to make do with a green button on a pole.
And an Orange McLaren doing a U-turn in Ascot. I followed him down from Heatherwood and thought he'd turn right toward the dealership, but he went all the way around the mini-roundabout and back the way he'd come.
