As a local you should know better!

That's one of the best spots for rich pickings in the country. £25,000 per week!

Having said that, I might have done 40mph down there not 30 mins ago, and I feel fine. Somehow managed to avoid having an accident with the complete lack of traffic or junctions on Vastern Road

It's a 30 limit for a reason $$$$

I thought that on a dual carriageway, there had to be a 30 sign on both sides. There isn't down Vastern Road.Send a letter asking for calibration certs and ask was the vehicle parked legally,as usually on blocking signs down the road.Used to walk past the tw&t and shout w&nker into the van,he just used to duck down.Scum,i'm afraid.

thankfully i'm not a local, just working down here.

maybe I should send a letter but as you know it'll drag out the process, i'll go to court and end paying £250 for the privilege (including the 3 points)..you've got to love this country.

Justin -> is this true that a dual carriageway should have 30mph signs.. does anybody have the Road and Traffic Act at hand!

I thought they had put 30 repeaters up - included in the signs are the speed camera logos. There is certainly one when heading East to West at the entrance to the road!

i know so many people who have been caught by that stupid camera, it is a very badly sign posted 30 zone but they are there but you have to look out for them!!! the van can get you pretty much as soon as you turn on to the road!!!

It's the streetlights that make it a default 30 - sadly, the dual carriageway doesn't make any difference!
