doesn't Pews have live music on a thursday???... I would suggest Either the Britannia or the Weyside.. both have parking... (think one of them used to be the Jolly Farmer)

Did I see you in the Kings Head on Thursday, Jimothy? If not, you have a double.

Yup, I was there that night. Didn't see you though...

I was just passing the window on my way to the Weyside to meet Turbonelly's missus. Alright, it wasn't just me meeting her

As for the venue debate, I don't really mind. The Weyside's a bit lacking in atmosphere in the winter months, but is nice. Parking's not a big problem in the evening - there are 101 places to leave cars. Even the High St is a doddle to park on at night.

I reckon The Tup, Pews or the Three Pigeons would be good bets. Unless anyone fancies Bar Med, Edwards or Yates's - the totty may be a bit young for you though Charlie Or RSVP, which does a special thursday thing whereby they play music loud enough to make your ears bleed and sell VRB for £1 a glass or £3 a pint.

Based on the alomost general consensus, and to save any more maps having to be put on here, how about the Pews?

We can always move on to anywhere and everywhere and have the PissedupHeads pub crawl.

What time?

So shall we say Pews at 8pm, then onward from there.

Charlie, want to make the official announcment passing the motion, sealed with the official seal of the WHoCT?

If anyone doesn't know where it is, or is coming along and doesn't know anyone (like me at the last one) then mail me and I'll send you my number...

Super - looking forward to it!

If anyone wants to call me for directions again, they are welcome to. I promise not to be half cut in a pub across town this time! In my defence a mate was breaking the news that her father had just ordered a DB9. Had me reaching for the scotch, that did!

So, how many of you lot know each other from past piss-ups?

Is it going to be a 'jukebox stops' type situation when I get in the pub? LOL

Any of you got one of those Pistonheads signs so it's impossible to miss you lot?

I know a few. Was interesting last time when a strange man approached me and said:

"If I said pistonheads to you, would you think I was a weirdo?"

I replied, in all honesty:

"Well, yes."

Trust your gut instincts. Tonka and I were at the bar eyeing up a suspicious threesome (not 3Ways and his 2 20 YO's) and it turned out we were right, they were PHers... Should have gone with the gut and asked...

One underground and one multi-story. There's a fair bit of street parking around there anyway.

That depends...are you local?

Apart from one PHer, I've only met other ones once. But they seem a friendly lot

Lotuslad, I work in Guildford, but live in Farnham.

I'm hoping to still make it there later, but i'm picking my new toy up tonight straight from work (the 4.0L BMW AKA 'BMW 340i' in the road legal track car section!

Can't wait. So if you hear a low V8 rumble around 9.00pm, it might be me...

Followed by an ever so slightly sideways, filthy silver 328 sport! that'll be me then.
