Cant have happened long before I went past this morning. But there was a motorbike in the trees aproaching High Wycombe on the A404 this morning. Looked like he'd gone in hard....An ambulance was on the scene but dont think it was an Emergency responce one...

Fingers crossed it wasn't as bad as it looked....

From the North or the South? Lots of suitable trees along the Amersham to Hazlemere/Wycombe road. Bit harder to manage this on the approach from the South.

Hope the biker is OK.

If i remember ill have a look later at work and find the status of the biker etc.

Between marlow and H/W is that the short run up to where the matrix board is?

I think so. Theres a layby that some people had stopped in about 10 meters on from the bike.

Must be hard to do go off like that on that stretch of road without divine intervention from a car?!

it would be, unless some sort of mechanical faliure. Or stupidity on part or the biker... But with it seeming to be close to a layby kinda narrows the options!

Just been recalled to duty because one of my colleagues has died on a motorbike on the way into work.
I think that was one of our PC's that died in the crash you mention.

I am afraid to say that it was a Police Officer on his way to work at High wycombe.

He died in hospital from his injuries!

This is awful. If there is a culprit I hope you catch them.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I didn't think it looked good from where the bike was.

I cant really say to be honest, it looks like biker was in lane 1, another vehicle lane 2.
Vehicle moves from lane 2 to 1 as they are side by side.
Currently being investigated so facts will come to light later to us.
