Great selection of motors, liked the colour on NMS Cerb. What is the proper name for that colour paintwork?

Checked it myself when I got home as a couple of people asked...according to the log book (and the Rob Ingleby report) it is Porsche Amethyst Purple. Also needed to check as I will be requiring the use of a paintshop to remove the scratch where it was keyed!! Anyone have any good suggestions for where to take it? Had one quote that was £350+vat so far...

Think Chips Away would be able to get that sorted now problem for a lot less than that.

Not sure about BodyShops in the area. There is a post somewhere on this forum about them though.

I spoke to chips away yesterday and he said that it would be quite difficult to blend in properly as it is quite high up on the side of the car...apparently it is easier the lower down and closer to the edge (not sure how or why??). His quote was in the region of £200. Will search the forums for other options.

Thanks again to eveyone for making me feel welcome, even if I do drive a ''little m''.

Enjoyed the pub afterwards, & the laughs Phills & Oggs provided us with. A good day was had by all!

Chipsaway in HW couldnt do the keymark on my bonnet, but then they also recommended that i get it seen to asap so that rust doesnt set in.. .. ..

Kim - echo that. It was nice to meet the future Mrs Slikk, even if she did tell me to 'sod off' at one point

You look like a very happy couple, have a great day!

Cheers

Neil, most of the Chipsaway type guys I've dealt with won't do anything 'eye level' as it's really hard to match and blend - it's much easier to miss that lower down.

A couple of bodyshops specialise in TVRs, try Ewelme Coachworks near Henley or Jason at tvrbodyshop in Bristol (but does courtesy cars). One of these guys will be doing my headlight conversion soon ....

Cheers
Jon

Had a good time - nice to meet everyone Enjoyed the drive from 'The Boot' to Bicester - even if I did get left behind somewhat!
Anyway - here's a couple of vids I took of you all going off for a drive after lunch. Lots of nice sounding cars there - particularly that insane black Cerb, Jon!
