Good roads in Surrey

Never seen such rubbish. Completely the opposite. What are you comparing it to? Its lovely around all of there,
Addlestone is a dump and Byfleet isn't that great either. Brooklands has some nice bits. I deal with a lot of sts in all those areas. Weybridge is nice if you can afford it
It depends on what you compare it to. Addlestone and Byfleet are by no means exuberant. But compared to the places such as housing estates in Brixton, Hackney and Haringey they are palatial.
I used to live in Brooklands opposite David Lloyd, and always considered it to be Weybridge anyway.
Aldershot I would consider to be a bit of a dump, and maybe Rydes Hill in Guildford, but not Byfleet or Brooklands.

Drive from Box Hill south on the A24, then turn off at a main junction of the dual carriageway to the Ockley Road and take the B2127 to Ewhurst.
The head on the B2128 towards Rudgewick and onto the Loxwood Road towards Loxwood (this can have a load of cyclists). Turn left onto the B2133 towards the A272 and turn right onto the A272.
Turn left onto Kingspit Lane and onto the A283 towards Egdean and onto the A2138 through Fittleworth.
From there I like to either head left towards the A29 Bury Hill for a stop at the top where there is a biker stop/cafe/trail or right towards Bignor Hill Roman Villa and onto the A285 to Goodwood cutting across to East Lavant.
Head north on the A286 and a cheeky left onto the B2141 towards South Harting, through Shroud, Langrish and end up at Loomies for a tea. From there, loop ad infinitum and enjoy.
Yes, the council killed the nationals over a decade ago (pre-dating the popularity of cycling), but that won't prevent you from enjoying the secret roads.

Since the lower speed limits around the Pirbright bends came in they've become the go to location for both liveried & parental driving lessons. If you're lucky you'll be able to do the actual posted speed limit. If you're unlucky, you'll be doing at least 10mph plus under the limit depending on how experienced the learner is.
I've not noticed any difference. They are a brilliant little roller coaster road but being so tight and twisty, if you get caught behind something its virtually impossible to pass. You'd need to get up early or late to really enjoy them.I'm between Guildford and Woking. Years of increasing congestion mean I have virtually given up just going out for a fun drive.
But the one exception is summer evenings at the weekend, just as the sun is setting. Usually that's late enough for the "37mph everywhere brigade" to be resting up with some Horlicks. Then take your pick: on a Sat or Sun evening I'm usually driving back from a picturesque cricket ground somewhere in the Surrey Hills in a little yellow Lancia. It's not worth driving anything too big or powerful.

Ranmore Common Road out of Dorking, towards Horsley, but only when it’s quiet.
It’s a proper switchback and a chassis testing 5miles.
A29 from Beare Green. Pretty much keep going all the way to Fontwell Park.
Some fantastic stretches and sequences along there.
Then turn right and Goodwood is 15mins up the road.
bell and colvill garage roundabout horsley to the Ripley intersections fun....It’s a proper switchback and a chassis testing 5miles.

Yep, but watch out for mobile camera trap in the layby near Clandon Wood.Lol, I know. I mean the intersecting road. That whole stretch from Guildford to Horsley is quite fun late in the day. Also Horsley on the Ockham Rd North to the A3 interchange is a blast with a nice 2nd gear left hander coming off the roundabout towards Ripley.
