Hi all, my car is a Focus RS which I absolutely love, easily my best car ever. It's in blue, now there's a surprise. Bought it new Sep 03, definitely a record for me as I usually change every 2 or 3 months! Got through 9 cars in 2002! I live in Windlesham, close to The Bee pub. Ought to join in the Guildford nights out, but driving over than drinking 4 orange juices doesn't appeal much. Have made it to the Virginia Waters meets once or twice, but no excuse not to as it's just down the road. Cheers! Geoff ps did break my Le Mans viriginity this year, although best part of the weekend was driving back in a fast convoy with a Clio V6, Jag XJR, Porsche etc

I ought to as well, but I'm not a rug muncher & 'chasing totty' doesn't appeal to me much

I'm surprised, *most* of them round here seem to drive MX5's, you should be ok in theory.

I can't bring myself to open a thread entitled 'totty admirers club'. There don't seem to be any normal meets anymore.

Yes but a thread entitled 'Guildford normal people meet - no totty' would be particularly barren

I was thinking "who the #@*$ do I know that's bought a Porka?!?!" Answer (as you may have noticed by my everso bemused look) no-one that immediately came to mind.

Remembered I saw someone had posted they had a 911 Cab when I got up to the traffic lights at the top.

Sorry I didn't look more 'with it' but that was something I wasn't expecting.

My Mum thought all her dreams had come true - a man with a Porsche

I flashed and waved at him once...

He must have thought I was a nutter, but was still kind enough to wave back in a similarly manic fashion!

Anytime your Mum wants a hoon in a 911 is alright with me

If that is where you live then I am only across the fields at the back of you, down the lane between the fields at the back of Cannons

See you again sometime - maybe in the Westie (loved mine but what a beast!)

Got to really in that Smart - bet it gets a better reaction than the 911. Never had a car generate so much animosity and aggression. Not even the BM's and particularly not the fezza. Sad really.

BTW sure I saw you round G'ford Sun PM - or was it another black MR2??

You don't live in Don's Cottage down Green Lane do you?

I'm hopefully going to have the westy MOT'd when my health improves a bit so you may well see me out and about, I'll make sure I'm less bemused to a 911 Cab waving at me

Nothing like that! My Mum's deputy Churchwarden in the parish and does all the Baptism Cards (well, I end up doing them). When Don used to live in his cottage, we visited it several times when he opened it under the National Gardens Scheme. Mum was always very taken with the garden and when Katie was Baptised she remembered the unusual surname.
