I've been looking for a car photo location for months now but haven't come across any good ones.

The best I got was on a B road in Hampshire, and another on the layby on the hog's back near Guildford.

Does anyone know of any rural or even industrial locations good for a car photo shoot? With the weather being nice now I wanna go out for golden hour and also some night time industrial photos.

Thanks

Lots in and around Farnborough airport... O'Gorman Avenue, Pond Road.

I know that's technically Hampshire, but it's only just over the border

For rural shots, anywhere on the Surrey Hills between Blackheath and Coldharbour.

For industrial shots you'll need a little more imagination. Maybe head to Brooklands for a more modern scene or for a grittier look, possibly Woking town centre or search out empty buildings, pubs and warehouses.

Probably not exactly what you're after, but I always thought this place looked interesting for a photo

There is a big old airport building there which is a bit of a go to photo location, as was in front of the old airship hanger.

Elstead Mill has a nice cobbled road in a nice setting.

Not far from Goodwood.... always looked quite appealing for a certain type of shot.

Fairoaks in Chobham has a piece of showgrass and a bank, where the pic of my car in my profile was taken.

Some great shouts here, looking forward to the weather getting a bit better to try them out.
I found a good location in Pirbright bends for a scenic background:

Or at the entrance to Brookwood Cemetery:

Also if you haven't driven it yet - you MUST try this route. Happy to arrange a drive out if anyone is keen (when we're allowed)

That sounds like a good idea. A spring drive through the Surrey/Hampshire area when we're allowed would be fun, we can take some shots of our cars

I do some of that route regularly, doesn't take long and some proper little roller coaster roads as I call them. Just need some better weather...

Can you convert that into a route/plan with instructions? (Or whatever the correct term is)

Anywhere around the Albury estate ( Peaselake / the hills ) or the ex military bits near Woking are good for photo shoots.
