Radiator recore - Scottish Borders / Edinburgh

Once lockdown is lifted I need to get a radiator from my TVR Tasmin recored.

I'm looking for recommendations for a good place hopefully in the Borders or Edinburgh.

Also wondering how much I'm looking at to get this done. The radiator isn't anything special (same as a Mk2 Granada) but you can't buy new ones any more.

Don’t know on the east but you could post it out to Star Radiators in Govan. Google reviews give them 4.8/5. Out of curiosity where do you take your TVR for servicing?

Thanks I'll keep them in mind, but that's probably be best part of two hours from me.

There must be somewhere in Edinburgh that are good. The only place I can find is http://www.scotrad.co.uk/ but their website doesn't fill me with confidence. Anyone used them?

Regarding servicing a Tasmin is basically a 70's Ford so very easy to work on. I do everything myself.

Scotrad have been going for years. My Dad used them for re-coreing when he owned his garage before he retired. Very good workmanship. Their reviews on google are pretty indicative. Wouldn't worry about their website.

I got them to re-core my Tuscan Aluminium radiator a few years ago.
