Looks like the planning and comms around this went well - better than expected by many. Someone somewhere is due some credit for this.

The fears of locals captured in this LBC headline “Carmageddon: M25 shuts as traffic chaos looms and locals stockpile food for first-ever daylight closures” have not been realised.

Let’s hope they got all the work they were planning done during the weekend.

Did you consider the widespread awareness helped? Maybe next time they do nothing and you can whinge about being stuck in traffic instead.
