can us locals still arrange a vw meet??
Discussion
Was there ever much organising at VW? Did someone warn them we were coming? All you need to do is suggest a date, a start and end time, make it soon so there is not much warning and off you go.
How about Sunday 25th March 8am to noon.
I'll see you there don't spread this on other threads and don't add it to the calendar and don't go off to other forums and chat about it.
This is also the start of British Summer time so something else to celebrate, but it does mean you loose and hour in bed. So that'll be see you at 7am in "real" time.

59.8 last time I tried, Englefield Green lights to VW car park!
So you need to try harder to then...
Did you get my email?
yes thanks, just not sure where I will be yet, I am at BMW in the afternoon so if meeting runs on I might have to come straight from there. But I could do with a lift back to Old Windsor for defo, let you know tomorrow.

So we'er happy with the date, but the start time is causing problems? Half the fun is getting up early for the on the empty roads to the venue. I'll see some of you later in the day then.
so you are orgainsing this john?
HAppy to do something if necessary, but what is there to organise? I thought it was going to be low key and a small event? We turn up between 8am and noon or later for the sleepyheads!

Well if it's going to be 7am,
No it's an 8am start (It would have been seven if the clocks had not gone forward overnight! Confused?)

B0llox, just checked the calendar and there's a BMW M meet pencilled in for the Lakes that weekend. Where we drive on some of the most stunning fast roads in the country at oooh... 60mph or so officer.
Will try and find out if it's confirmed and if not I'll wander over to VW in time for the pub to open. Unless someones organized a bacon sarny and coffee for the morning?
