Not a bad price at all to be honest!

I shall phone around as I need to refurb the S2 alloys and my 8 valve alloys too.

I was very pleased with the job that B.J. Vallack did with my TVR alloys, and they also provided a free collection/delivery service from Bracknell, where I worked at the time.

This does, of course, mean being without your wheels for a period of time!

They've just quoted me £118 + VAT - PER WHEEL yikes

Bloody hell! eek What're you having done to them?

Mine cost me £20 / wheel plus VAT with the tyres off. It would've been an extra £10 / wheel if I'd sent them with tyres on.

Are you sure it wasn't £118 plus VAT for all four? scratchchin

That seems a bit more reasonable!

These are my 'new' wheels.

Got them re-furbed by BJV Engineering - powder coat in anthracite. Excellent service, collect & deliver.

Then fitted Tire Watch sensors (well my mate at PDQ did).

Then took them to STS Slough for some nice Dunlops (really good deal )

Here is the result.......

I'm as pleased as punch biggrin

Ah, so it was your recommendation. Good effort Pete biggrin

Look forward to seeing your finished wheels.

I've just sent the original alloys off for a Metallic Black finish thumbup

Another thumbup for BJV here.

A small air leak on one of the filters when they put the tyres back on was a bit of a bummer (£4 to have this fixed by Just Tyres on the Oxford Rd today) but otherwise very happy.

BJV about to pick up the wheels for my G33 - had a nice chat with them about black chrome versus bright silver and have now decided to go for "silver #4".

Hopefully have them back by Friday...

Have you sorted your cooling problem? You missed a blinder over the weekend!

Turned out to be cooling and brakes and i have now sorted both, yes.
A bit hacked off about missing it but better to find this stuff out now than on the way to Le Mans in two weeks...

Great thread, saved me creating one.

I have spoken to Brian at B.J.V. this morning and they will collect from Reading on a Tuesday and a Friday for FREE!!

My quote was £49 per wheel which is great considering i want tyres off, powercoted centres and polished lips on my E36 M3 staggered rims.

Thanks for the info fellas. I told him he had a good write up on here.
