I wonder if we can cunningly plan another meeting point at Chessington World of Adventures (well, the Monkey Puzzle pub; Travel Inn car park: www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=51.3468&lon=-0.3158&scale=10000&icon=x ) for those from SW London/North Surrey? Any takers?

10.45am meet, leave at 11.15? Should bump into the Berkshire lot at the right time...

That gets my vote, as it's within 200 yards of my route out of Epsom, so avoids any doubling back!

Route for your consideration.

Simplish route (can think of completely non motorway route and/or one that avoids Redhill/Reigate, but means looping further south if you like):

Meet at Runnymede. M25 j13 to j9, follow Dorking A24 signs (theres a layby on the link road that Monkey Puzzle people could lurk in),

A24 past Boxhill

A25 towards Reigate

Try not to get too split up going through Reigate/Redhill keep following A25 signs (probably to Sevenoaks or something)

There's an American car showroom nearby we could pop into....tumbleweed ok just me then..

A25 all the way through Godstone/Oxted until we reach Brasted then look for a right hand turn New Road that goes to Ide Hill.

More than happy to plan a more scenic, more B roads route.

Let's have a heated debate.

That works for me. The lay-by is about 5 minutes from the Monkey Puzzle, so if you call us when you pass the A3, we can leave the pub and meet you there. I'm guessing you'll be with us around 11:20?

I am not averse to the 'B' road options either!

Arse! Won't be going now.

Have spent the last 24 hours in a prescription painkiller induced haze.

Have a good one.
