Afternoon All,

Just in the process of buying our first house in Leighton Buzzard and was just wondering how many Pher's were based there?

I know Oggs and Gbbird are locals but thats about it!

Sorry, the band that became known as Modern Romance were originally called the Leighton Buzzards.

You might have more luck with this if you post in the Northampton Forum, Phill. The only other PHer I know from around that way is HeavySoul, and there's a few of us in Milton Keynes

BTW,
Last week I asked Garlick for a Herts, Beds and Bucks forum, cos theres a big gap in between Northants, Thames Valley, Eastern and London with quite a few PHers in that gap,
had no answer as yet- maybe if he had more than one email about it....... hehe

Yeah it's been much too long! I was talking to Slikk a couple of weeks ago about organising a run but we've been so busy lately.

As well as (hopefully) getting the house i've also done the decent thing and proposed! (Luckily Amy said yes) so we've now got a wedding to plan for as well (going to get the house sorted out first though).

How's things with you?

Hello Phil,

So you are moving to LB - excellent. Let me know when you are there and we can meet up. Are you going to be in the town or on the outskirts?

Woolfie and Sheepy are from LB. There are a few PHers from around LB in the surrounding villages, for example Neilsie and a chap with the Tamora/T350 who's name i just can't recall at the mo.

All being well and if the mortgage comes through! (Paid the solicitors last week so hopefully its progressing!)

The house is on the Planets estate just off the Hockliffe Rd - Nice and quiet location with plenty of parking!

Has Neilsie moved from Aston Clinton now then? Haven't seen him since last summer.

Yup, but it's kinda up for sale at the moment. Don't have a car during the week at all as I get the train down.

Sounds good to me Phil. Good luck with the move, and let me knwo when you are settled, then we can arrange something. A few of us do meet almost every month either in a local LB pub or one out Northants way.

Just had a call from the solicitors! - We're exchanging today ready for completion tommorrow!

Currently living in cardboard box city so I can't wait to move in on Saturday!

That local beer might be sooner than we thought!
