Cool, where abouts in LB will you be living? I'm a born and bred LB'er
On the planets estate (I think that's what it's called). Just off the Hockliffe RoadYou'll probably want to steer clear of "The Clay Pipe" pub which is on the estate though

Bearing in mind this was all a long time ago and virtually all the pubs have changed hands since then:
Our main haunts where "The Black Horse" Dave the owner was really unlucky though, all three of the pubs he owned burned down, which must have been a blow to the insurance company
"The Black Lion" in the high street was the other place we went to mostly, cheaper beer than most of the others, beer garden is a concrete car park, mainly a young pub so probably not fit for the likes of us these days!
"The Roebuck" is a bit older, used to have xmas and new year there as they didn't charge entry, nice pub, one of the better ones in the town centre.
Top and Bottom Bell - not too bad, young pubs again, bottom was always packed, Top could be a bit druggy. (One at either end of the high street, hence the names)
That's all I can think of at the moment...
Nice house though, I'll wave to you as I walk past every morning, my parents house (Where I crash Mon-Thu) is about 50 yards away

You'll have to pop in and say hi at some point! The area looks really nice I have to say and has been very quiet on the dozen or so times we've been up there.
Don't be alarmed at John, he's totally harmless and lived in the road (almost literally!) all his life, you'll know him when you see him trooperiziz said:

I don't know, it can get quite exciting! A house over the back was burgled in '87 and Sue Barker's brother used to live at number 19!trooperiziz said:

(Bottle of corona, bottle of Honeydew and packet of crisps came to £5.60!) However like you say it did feel like it was for middle aged teachers not people under the age of 25!)
