Forget the Surbiton one then - the Kent one does look good but along way for most on this thread and it is a Thames valley thread - look mega though.

How about a 2 or 3 hour event.
With 3 in the team, each driver has 20 mins then in to the pits to change driver.
We have done it with 4 drivers but you end up standing around for a while, and you loose time swapping over every 15 mins.
Its a more sociable event as you get to chat(read take pi55),and take some photo's between your goes.
It works out at a good price that way, check these out...

Here are the karts..

So,all thats left to do (for Henery/Rob)is to sort out the arrangements.clap

First one might be ok - be some silly prizes.

Prefer individual rather then team events myself, Sandown is a good compromise and despite its small size I've had some fairly good races at Surbiton over the years. I've always found Buckmore Park a bit bland - too much track length carved into too small an area, especially the first few turns.

But I'm up for any karting.

I think ultimately Sandown is the best compromise in terms or where it is, cost, karts, and single events are more satisfying.

Teams are fun if two in team - anymore and a pain as how much do you really feel YOU are contributing - I HATE TEAM GAMES.

I would rather have my own kart and not have to share with anyone. I will get bored out of my brain sitting at the side waiting for my turn and I won't want to get out of the kart when my turn is up! hehe

Personally I prfered the format at Epsom, however would have liked a break after 20 mins and a reverse grid for the second race.

They probably won't do reverse grids, too much risk of damage to the karts.

If the race is split in two we lose a load of track time while everyone stops and the grid is reformed.

They do not mind we had this option the first time but went with normal grid in the end. 2 races is fun - first effectively just for the grid - so not really fair to reverse grid as even in 20 mins the guy at the back will struggle to get to the front.
