A bit of a long shot, I know, but anyone around the Silwood Road area last night (5:30 ish) who saw an accident between a Ford Galaxy and a yellow Westfield please drop me a mail. It is possible that someone here might have seen something.

I assume it was your westfield involved in the accident?

If so then that really sucks, I hope you are ok!

Didn't want to say too much, in case any one accused me of leading the witness (or is that just in cheap US dramas?). A small coming together, no real damage to the Galaxy, but the nosecone, bonnet and potentially radiator on the Westfield is fuggered. A right PITA, as I was going to put it up for sale this weekend too.

No one hurt, so that's the main thing, but the car is off the road, and I am waiting to hear back from insurance company regarding the claim. I have dropped Anniesdad an email for some advice on the accident management company that came with my policy.

That's a real bugger.

On the other hand, following on from our conversation at the last SAS meet, if it delays your sale by a couple of months, I may be in a new, better paid job by then and in a position to take it off your hands! Just thought I'd wave the prospect of a silver lining to cheer you up!

Shameless bump.

Can I ask locals to check if their friends might have seen something. When I am mobile again I will go back and check in the shops, but I am hoping to find someone who saw what happened.

Thinking of getting a kit that me and PJ can complete. I did consider the Westfield SDV, but I am thinking of going up to Stoneleigh at the weekend to see what is on offer.

Blue, aren't they all? A W reg one, that pulled out of the conference centre on the corner.

I had avoided giving the colour, so I could find a real witness.

A friend of mine owns a burgundy one, who happens to live around the corner from your incident, and I was praying it was not him.

Well, after 2 1/2 months my car is back. I have not seen it yet, but it has been delivered back to my house this afternoon, just in time for the good weather! (Yeah, right.)

Now all I have to do is drive it a little, and put it up for sale. frown Role changes at work mean I need something that can be left at the station.
