Rich, I don't mind getting wet / impractical / pretty much anything... I think a westfield is a step too far though hehe And there is a good reason for the M5, well about 400 of them!
Humm... it's still a great big saloon car, time for that when you're my sort of age! hehe You need 2 x seats only and a roof that comes off!

This one's even in Maidenhead so you could view it in a lunhbreak wink although might be an acquired taste as far as colour combo (must say that I have ever seen it around here, and it would be hard to miss)

I saw this car when I went to do quote ,its spent even more time in the garage than my Griff ,the cars in very good condition, but don't think I could live with that colour, even Jons pink car is better!

Well I'm just guessing now, but when I drive all of them I've got a feeling the TVR will win... just guessing mind.

Looks like a worrying night ahead.........
I'd read on getreading.co.uk that you'd already flooded down there?

To be honest I'm just joking, we're on top of the hill above you - but you're welcome to come up for a cup of tea if you need wink

Cheers, if it does get bad, might need something stronger though biggrin

Looks like it's going to be much less severe than predicted yesterday, I was getting really worried. I think the Environment Agency were playing very safe after doing nothing last time.

Sky are now saying that tomorrow is peak time again rolleyes

I cycled past your gaffe this morning - plenty of sandbags but no leaks. BBC radio Berkshire looked very disappointed hehe

The water level is the same on both sides of the weir - that's normally around a 2m drop I'd estimate! The towpath past Kings Meadow and Tesco is about a foot deep in places (I know this from my wet feet!)

I need to pop into town soon, will have a look at the river on the way. Apparently they're predicting levels lower than 2003 now, so fingers crossed....

Not too bad, the river had broken the banks when I went for a walk last night, but it hasn't breached any roads yet.

Reading is expecting 'high-tide' in the early hours tonight - so HoT will be slightly later...
