Don't worry too much mate.

If I get the time between now and then I will give it a go myself, I just need to set aside a whole day incase it goes tits up. I will grab a mate of mine to give me a hand if he is free, but if I havent got it done by the 19th then I will do it with you if you are free from then on?

Unless Audi were a lot worse in the past that side of things is actually pretty easy (granted mine doesn't have a dizzy) the inlet mainfold and all the charge pipes are a piece of piss to remove on my car as are the coilpacks and associated gubbins and the airbox / battery, infact everything is pretty easy unless they designed it not to come apart without normal tools.

Ben: Well I've not actually looked at how easy the inlet manifold is to get off. I suppose one blessing is the lack of coilpacks for me if I do decide to change the rocker cover gasket, but the only pain is the distributor as apparently S2's are extremely sensitive to timing.
