hehe, we wont stop people unless necessary due to the amount of time you potentially can loose where you could be training.

Black V70 Estate GX54... on the A31 Hogs Back.

I had seen one on the A320 near St Peter's Hospital a few years back, so considering it's age it probably was 2 of the same.

Saw a unmarked Silver 06 plate Skoda Octavia vRS saloon pulled over some dodgy looking Merc. Along the A331 just before the Ash Vale turn off on the way to the M3.

How can you think those things are nice, or did you mean the older one?
I had one of these while my Merc CLK was off the road a couple of years ago (hit a badger) and it was awful. It was thirsty, underpowered and very poorly finished.

M40
Ford ST - Silver (Banbury area)

Remember......Keep 'em Peeled!

Unmarked training car, we have a blue one too.
Interesting, as it had pulled someone over.

Were they just practising their technique? "Do you know why I've stopped you? etc"wink

Again today, southbound near Warwick. Silver Focus ST.

Either you boys need lots of practice or it's an operational unmarked car... rotate sonar

I too have seen this Focus on the M40 near warwick. Further south on the M40 TVP seem to operate almost exlusively Vectras. The reg generally starts OU and they're normally black or green. But you can normally tell by the extra mirrors and manner of driving. How many new shape vectras have you ever seen cruising the "slow" lane at 60 unless their plod?

Yep all we use for operational work are vectras on traffic, Fords for ARV. Astras for pandas.

Anyone would think someone has a stake in vauxhall.

Yes please, whats the reason TVP only run Vauxhalls, and have done for as long as I can remember? Just curious after your "stake in Vauxhall" remark...

We are part of a consoritum(sp) With herts and bedspol.

The stake in vauxhall comment isnt meant to be a TVP have a stake in vauxhall.

More like a rumour that is going around.

We dont have a stake in vauxhall just to be clear.

I saw a dark blue 5 series in Ewell today. He flashed me to allow me to pass on the high street, but on his dash (like a radar detector) emitted a couple of blue flashes?

Was it a modification or an unmarked? I know that there was a murder round here of an 81 year old woman, but never seen unmarked cars in this area, other than A217.

If you're unsure if you're about to hoon it past an un-marked copmobile, check behind first as they often have radio equipment an' that hanging from where there rear view mirror is, has helped me twice now, especially on the M3!

I doubt that trafpol would flash to let you through, and also that any emergency equipment would be linked to the headlamp flasher. Maybe it was an actual radar detector? I had a snooper that used to flash blue when approaching cameras, or supermarket doors...

This car is all over the M3. Saw it pull a silver Merc C-Class this morning. It has the blue light on the front wings too. If you see one watch out!
