Possibly Surrey but sometimes we use it too. Was it white?

I can't believe they don't like their new 5 series tourers - we have lost our BM's now - we only have a few old ones left and it's a fight for the logbook at the start of a tour.

If you were in Met ground it would have been their Traffic equivalent, a silver V70 2.0 diesel. 0 - 60 in around 10 seconds.
Would this car come as far out as Bracknell? I saw a 12 plate one on Thursday evening parked up with the occupants still inside it.

If not, then I guess the local guys here have one as well!

Hard to say really. It's not met ground but we do venture out quite a bit.

Basically if it looks/sounds/moves impressive, it's a decent counties car.

If it's boring, and silver. Yeah.

2 coppers in a Volvo had a good look at the 840 on the m25 on thurs afternoon. The new ones just don't have the cache of the old t5's
The new T6 is a lot better than the T5,they are a lot quicker and handle much better, but they are a lot more thirsty biggrin

They're getting on a bit now and won't be replaced with anymore, I think they'll be around for another 6 months

Out of interest, what sort of miles do you guys put on the marked and unmarked cars a month?

Most will do 150+ miles in 1 shift, 3 shifts in 24hrs, so that's a lot of miles a month biggrin and a huge fuel bill

Now we are only allowed to go to the "corridors", we sometimes just do around 10 miles in a shift where we repeatedly drive up and down the same piece of road for 8 hours.

Saw a boggo silver Focus hatch, steel wheels and trims etc with covert lights racing down Onslow Street yesterday afternoon as I was pulling out of The Friary Service Area, I see them all the time, black, silver, maybe grey too. What are they?

I see them, but they're usually 3-4 up.. Never one BiB on his own in the car.

I saw one having pulled a VW van on the roundabout by Dreams a few months back, two officers I think.

Any one in the Discovery 4 tonight or a Focus Estate? Just had a Honda CRV abandoned in the dead end outside my house and the occupants smash a load of pot plants etc jumping my fence. Just had an officer searching my garden with a torch.

Haslemere area? I was considering turning out for it, but had already done 11 hours and wanted to go home (and I was in Guildford)

Did they catch them in the end?

Indeed, they caught them both as well, they'd made their way through my death-trap garden (complete with random steps, a stream, bridge and wet slopes, trees), pulled the fence half down to get into the garden of another house, run down that road where presumably the Discovery was waiting, as it disappeared on blues quickly as an officer entered our garden.

Came over the radio that one had been caught whilst I was talking to the one who'd searched our garden, then a few mins later the other one was found. They'd basically come back on themselves so they were ony about 400 yards away the otherwise of a house or two. When they jumped the fence from drive to garden they landed on big plant pots, a parasol base, waste bags and the edge of a few steps, so at least they probably hurt themselves a bit. hehe

Silver V70 estate (TVP) stopped us at about 2am a few weeks ago , OU12 plate , in the driveway for st Anne's manor Hilton in Wokingham / Bracknell . Not speeding but we looked too young to drive the car apparently (2 18yr olds in a 61 plate BMW x3 ) (mates dads company car insurance is flexible to say the least)
