unmarked police cars
Discussion
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the officers in the unmarked grey 15 plate Audi S3 who were joining the M25 dartford bound from the A30, Egham.
They were in the inside lane of the uphill sliproad, and pulled out in front of me at the point where I'd decided to use quite a lot of acceleration to pass the cars in the left hand lane. At that point, my inner idiot thought "ha, he thinks my old Jag won't be able to keep up - I'll show him!", and followed him at quite a pace all the way onto the motorway, at which point the blue lights came on and my head was immediately filled with thoughts of having to take the train for quite a while.
Thankfully, I wasn't pulled over, and after that warning, I continued my journey at a rather slower pace

Lol, Geekman you were very lucky, bet you almost made a mess on those cream leather chairs? I had a similar experience on Xmas eve on A34 south near turn off to join the A303. I was getting a fair lick on due to the GF running me late, I turned off to join the A303 when a black unmarked 3 or 5 series BMW flew up behind me with lights flashing. I just joined the slip-road which connects the A303 and was slowing to pull over, when BIB did a U turn and buggered off? So I carried on with my journey at a much slower pace wondering if I would get a fine in the post. Perhaps they got called to another job. Anyway, if they are on here, sorry officer. So heading up the M3, lovely day today crisp dry great vis empty motorway for a change and I'm clipping along with a fellow traveller at a not insignificant rate when just ahead of us an unmarked 3 series lights up and shoots off! He pulls in level with me and we exchange mutual looks of releif! Then pull in to fleet services and there the 3er was. EX64 GNJ which has featured here previously. Was some medical situation as an ambulance turned up shortly after.

Black focus st EK63 xxx in Hersham having just pulled over an audi a4 Tuesday lunchtime
Thought the police had stopped using ST's? I got pulled over in my ST near Brooklands by an officer on his bike one night and had a chat, said they were running S3's these days. Saw an A3/S3 with the blues on this morning hoofing it as you come off the m25 to Reigate.
I am very wary of anyone that speeds up when I do these days

Dark three series had made a stop on the A320 this evening. WD15 or similar plate.
Also saw an unmarked X5 joining the A3 at Burpham the other day. If it was driven by the guy I saw in sainsburys I'm quite sure he wasn't trafpol. Unless sidearms are issued to trafpol these days...
