Yes
Run most police cars through it will show as no MOT. They are serviced and checked more often than a standard vehicle.

They are also VEL exempt

They used to have to display the discs, just not pay for them.

Nope didn’t have to display them either. We did as it meant less time dealing with people who would say ‘you haven’t got a disc’. Ours would just say NIL on them. Highways had a white disc that just had ‘crown exempt vehicle’

This vehicle's MOT is overdue
You can be fined up to £1000 for driving without a valid MOT
LJ14CWD
AUDI A4
Our cars are serviced roughly every month or two, or maybe it just feels that way, as they are forever in the workshop!
Came in today and the garage was empty, checked the board and most of the vehicle's were away at the workshop, or having bodywork repairs.
The blue Audi had retired, but has been brought back into service for a short time. The black Audi is on its last legs and the eastern side are currently trying to kill it (it was inherited from Sussex)

Blimey! Do these cars go to auction when they are de-fleeted? I'd have thought they'd be a good buy considering the servicing routine you outlined, unless you get one from Slough division where it's been chasing crooks through estates all it's life crashing over speed bumps at 60mph Road Wars style! (RIP Dixie whilst on the subject).

They are normally disposed of at Auctions, I think there’s a company that comes and gets them? Furry?
They can be a bit hit and miss, depends on what’s happened to them through their service. There’s many I wouldn’t touch with a barge pole, but then there’s a few I would happily have had as my own.

Au64 xxx dark blue ford b max / c max. Had pulled someone over down by Hampton Court this afternoon on the Met / Surrey border and was doing a document check. I'm guessing that's not a traffic car

Also thanks to the driver of the silver 62 plate volvo who gave me a friendly warning on the M40 a couple of weeks ago..as I approached it I did think it could be an unmarked car but thought a 62 plate was a bit old!

Saw a dark grey metallic BMW estate all blacked out windows going at least 700 liptons on the 40mph stretch of the average speed camera A217 the other evening
Hidden blues going off front and rear.

SV66 YEB being fixed after some front corner damage.

Didn’t look too bad, just a wing and door.

I remember getting one of our 3 series back from the body shop after a TPAC, only had it a few days and I rammed a stolen car with it, it had 3 new front ends in about as many months

A Graphite 330d X-Drive Touring did a lap of the car park at Newlands Corner this morning - sadly didn't notice the plate.
