BLOODY THINGS ARE EVERYWHERE NOW, Few weeks ago driving near Silvertown there was even a small white unmarked van with Blues and twos going!

In Whitley south Reading last week i spotted a car ive not seen in a few years at least.
A silver Vauxhall Vectra V6 Turbo with the dual rear exhausts.

Unmarked apart from the 2 officers inside it.
Odd to see such an old car still being used but i imagine its a bit of a weapon in pursuits. Same engine as the "Saab 9-3 Turbo X". Approx 280bhp.

Grey VW T Roc 'R' with blues on going up M40 from M25 this afternoon. 4 pipes, strange choice, clearly not a traffic car but wonder what division its for.

I cant keep up with all the unmarked cars forces are now using, they seem to use everything. Even Surrey councils parking wardens are driving around in private cars with no markings.

Most of these are not even police cars, or operational so it's all pointless.

The proportion of a forces unmarked fleet which is operationally active (as in dealing with offences as opposed to surveillance who will never break cover) is tiny.
