I know its not the TV but saw a Silver X Type pulling someone on the M40 (warwick area). It was the Sporty one with the bodykit and was sitting very low

Saw that in Mayford on Saturday. It's an 04 reg which surprised me.

but at about 15:30 today a dark blue saloon car slapped a blue light to it's roof and came hammering up the road from blockbusters heading towards Guildford. Lights flashing from the front and back grill.

Without the lights I would have said it was Mondeo man

It had lights in the grill and on the roof. Them some clever reflections.

A senior fire officer for the Reading area drives a Porsche 996 c4s. When there is a major incident he attends and has a removable blue light on the roof. TVP do not use any Porsches.

Ah, I've heard about this guy. Think he used to have an E39 M5.

I have seen this car and read many threads about it. I seriously doubt that it is a TVP car. It may be a TV copper on his way to a job though.

In any case, I don't think we need to worry about being pulled for speeding by a C4S. Just get out the way of it - he's probably got somewhere to be.

As I said it's not a Police car and no it has never stopped anyone either!! Oh and I've sold it 'cos it was a nightmare.M5 was brilliant though- wish the E60 was as good!

The 5 Series have the fin aerial as standard? What sort is the police variety, whip aerial?
