Hi, I'm organising this in advance, as there's a lot of runs on beforehand.

I have a route planned that covers the south, west and north Reading areas, but it's open to discussion with the usual hoon planners (PM me if you want to see the route I've got in mind).

It will probably be an early start on the 12th of April. I think we'll probably keep it to around 20 cars too, as any more than that is a bit of a handful!

Here's the diner's website:

Yeah, IOM trip is over the four days of Easter weekend.

Nah, run this one, we're not ALL away for IOM.

But as i said if you fancy a mini hoon sometime during March to "test the route and the breakfast" i'm sure a few of us would be up for it (like our little hot hatch hoon a few weeks back).

Yep I'd be up for a mini hoon to try it out, I'll try and come up with a date in March.

Yeh it does include some of the 4074, we will do a prehoon though if you're up for that, I'm thinking March the 29th. Does this clash with anything?

Which part? The section which runs up over the Chilterns is my fave. 29th is clear in my diary, might well be up for a dry run.

That looks like a cracker. Links two of my favourite local roads, interested to see what the 'link' is like.

You've included the good bit wink

Ah good stuff, I've only done the less good Reading side of the route. I'm guessing we might have to be careful closer to the diner for there may be some BiB around looking for bikers. They tend to go out later in the day though, as traffic isn't always such a problem for them.

Can't say I've ever seen a copper on the 4074 and its been a regular stomping ground of mine for years, although I normally turn off before the diner. Doubt it'll be an issue.

Ok, that's good to hear. From what I've read, the coppers just hang around the diner/roundabout outside the diner, as bikers tend to leave (and leave their mark) with a flourish.

Just went for a blast down the 4074 - good road and could be very, very fast. It does get better over the Chilterns too. It's just annoying that there's quite a lot of traffic on it at 9.45, so I'm planning on hitting that stretch before 9 on the hoon.

Gone quiet on this one - guess people are focussing on the South Coast run. This one still happening? And if so, is it a 29th March or an Easter Sunday thing?
