Easter Sunday Run to Fox's Diner

I might be interested in this if its still on, its right on my doorstep. I'll keep an eye on the thread.

As for police presence on the 4074, occasionally when bikers congregate at the Fox there is a police presence at Shillingford (especially on Monday night meets), presumably to slow them down on the fast section from Shillingford to the Diner, especially after the deaths on that section last year.

I'm not sure whether to run this on Easter Sunday or not - who can actually make it on the 12th?

Would you mind a newbie(ish) coming to join you? (can do either 29th or 12th). Should be picking up the new Chim (for the second time, so fingers crossed!) on the 28th so would love to take it for a run.

Nothing major, the heater motor/switch isn't working (seen the fixes regarding the wiring pin behind the dash, which looks the most likely cause but I just don't have the time to check this out myself), when we turned up they mentioned that the alarm's not working, but I'd like this fixed to make sure there's no problems with the insurance, and there's another couple of bits that they had looked at before handover which still need some attention.

Don't get me wrong tho... overall still very happy with the car! and the dealer did a few things above what i'd asked (new MOT, new rad, new alternator) so i'm gonna pop it back down to them for a week to get the rest of the niggles sorted. I'm sure I could fix a lot of them myself but just don't have the time and seeing as i've paid for the warranty, i'm gonna get them to sort it.

Oh.... and the car is awesome!!! Driven a couple of hundred miles, including the sportscar meet last Saturday. Loving every minute of it!

Looking forward to joining everyone on the next hoon, it's looking like the 29th is the prefered date for most people tho?

Hey all - is this just a car run or can a biker join in too (sold car a while back and only got a polo now ). If yey the 29th sounds good as im in france on the 12th. Is this happening or is it still up in the air??

It's this Sunday instead of Easter Sunday but we're going to Mac's on the A4 near M4J12 to watch the GP from 7am.

There's a thread around here somewhere....

Yeh as Pete said, some guys are doing a short run before watching the GP and having breakfast at Max Cafe on the A4 near Theale.

I can't make this so am no longer involved with it.
