Thanks Ted, it's been a long old slog and my wife insisted that 'this is the last one (business)', that I had to go back to climbing the greasy pole and that she'd be very annoyed if I invested any more money in the ideas. So it's potentially at least a way out of corporate life. See you at the May one then and good luck with Tedvertiser, it's a brilliant website, I'm already an active user

If you don't mind, i'll pop down for a couple too to see what it's all about.
If you bring the Carlton maybe it's worth meeting in the car park instead of next to the fireplace downstairs on the fat sofas..Seriously though they run the same way pretty much every time, we go around the table. People say what idea or business they have, thought of, would like to get into or just tell us they want to make money and want a good idea. Everyone then pitches in with ''have you thought about this, why don't you phone my mate Dave, do you need help with X, we could develop Y together''. And generally (at least I find this), helping each other is more fun even than talking about your own 'brainchild'. It's very informal and as it's close to my home and I'm the famous Two Pint Steve, I'm usually quite 'relaxed' by the end..
Thanks to everyone for coming along, great evening, brilliant to see things progressing so well, random (cryptic of course) highlights and thoughts: with a date we'll all turn up and make it a success, the marketing idea progressing so quickly - fab, 'why not get a job/stay in work' was a good perspective from someone's who's been out there, having a plan, any business as long as its vehicle related is something we can all relate to, my waiting for the paperwork and cash promise, the lilting tones of Rick's beast, Jay Abraham on a HD, OMG its a year, great business stories including the 'started in a garage', excellent stories from previous hoons and finally I'm just glad the 'turn up and tell us what progress you've made' factor is turning out to be a helpful thing.

It was a great meeting as usual this month. It's great to see the progress that Steve and Ross have made. Hopefully I will have something to bring to the table so to speak next month. It was good to meet some more of the local lot as well.
Tom
Glad you could make it Tom Tom
