my beloved G33 is going in for a service on monday and I was wondering if any of you chaps had any good recommendations and reason to choose a particular type or brand. I was thinking about toyo's as I like the idea of good wet weather grip... thanks

I run Goodyear Eagle F1s for similar reasons; outperformed all other brands in wet in 2003 mag test, (I need all the help I can get ) Not sure if they come in right size to fit standard G33 wheels.

No experiance of Toyo's on a Ginetta, but I've always had them fitted to my cars, and the misses' cars.

I'm trying Pirelli P7000 this year. So far they grip better in low standing water, but they squirm a bit in the dry, and don't stick as well in the rain.
I'm not impressed.

My misses couldn't feel if the steering wheel came off in her hand so she hasn't had any comments yet.

I'll be sticking with Toyo T1's next year.

I've got Toyo's ts-1 on my G27
They are brilliant, loads of grip yet "progresive breakaway" if that makes sence. Excellent for ROAD use!!
As it is an ex race car I tried them on the track against my old dunlop r1's the dunlop's are far better when you are pushing it!! but for alround wet/dry every day use it's the toyo's every time, and for £35 fitted each corner for 195 50 r15's who can go wrong.
