Have been rubbing back the chassis of my 1966 square-tube G4 and noticed the rear facing edge
of the cross member supporting the steering rack mounting blocks has a stamping that reads
' G.K.N.S. WALES. '
Just wondering if anyone knows the origin of this, did Ginetta sub-contract the chassis production perhaps?
Will try to attach a photo. Regards, Mark.

Almost certainly the steel supplier, Guest Keen Nettlefold who had steelworks in South Wales.

Thanks Geoff, mystery solved. Unfortunately the car is not a pretty sight at the moment, however, is sounder
than it appears! Has required some surgery to remedy some rot in driver's footwell area but apart from that
appears to be a fairly straight forward restoration. The car itself was registered RLG 679D in the UK and I
believe was fairly well traveled over the years and has been in Oz since 2010. Cheers, Mark.
