Proper discs are very rare. Only fitted as standard to some German market MK1 fiesta that pre-dated the xr2. They were also available in the UK as part of the 'Series X' upgrade kits you could order on your Mark 1 Fiesta. As Ian says - full dimensions etc on the owners club site.
An alternative is to use a set of Mk3 1.1 Fiesta front discs. The diameter is a little small so you need to file your pads down slightly at the top (or mod the caliper mounts) but otherwise they are OK.

Well - we have bought the G32 turbo race car that was on Ebay, so now I have a choice of broomstick....
We are now looking for all and any information we can gather about the car - I recall that either Performance Ford or Fast Ford featured the car many years ago, and information like that would be nice to have.

Well - as far as we can tell, the car was built as a road-legal racing car, so we plan to keep it that way. The first step is to work out exactly what needs doing to a car that has not been used for a long, long time, but it has been garaged all that time so hopefully the chassis will be OK as the car has done very little road work. First stop for the car is Ginetta Heritage next week.
Once it is sorted out, I will be spoilt for choice as I still have Roger (the G32 Zetec modsports car) as well. Both will give me the incentive I need to get well for the 2010 season - 2009 has been a year that we want to get behind us....
David has been working on the race truck, building a lifting ramp so that the G22 and a G32 can fit in the same space. That's nearly done, so know he can get back to the G22 and get that running again!

Justin you're right and apologies to everyone, the clutch slave cylider is not from an Austin A40, it's from an Austin but a later model.
What I didn't make clear on my last post in June is that my advice is to go and buy a Hewland slave cylinder and an adaptor to change the existing clutch union to match - more details and links to parts on ebay if required.
